New Canyon Sole

The new Canyon Sole is designed for golfers who struggle with short approach shots, want to reduce mishits, or are seeking added forgiveness. By combining low-bounce characteristics that allow the clubhead to cut through the sand with high-bounce performance that promotes glide, it delivers exceptional results on bunker shots, particularly when striking the sand behind the ball.

Dual-Bounce

Bunker play often requires adjusting technique such as opening or closing the clubface based on sand and weather conditions. Softer sand calls for a shallower interaction to prevent excessive digging, while firmer sand requires the clubhead to engage more directly. The Dual Bounce sole is engineered to adapt to these variations, optimising how the clubhead enters and moves through the sand to deliver consistent, controlled performance in all conditions.
Previous Canyon Sole minimizes fat shots
The DJ-6 features a deeply carved Canyon Sole through the center, allowing the trailing portion of the sole to generate increased bounce interaction with the turf which results in greater clubhead acceleration. While highly resistant to heavy strikes, this design produces a slightly higher initial ball speed which may lead to a loss of control.
New Canyon Sole offers superior glide
The new Canyon Sole features a shallower profile, promoting smoother, more controlled interaction with the sand or turf from leading to trailing edge. Compared to the DJ-6, this results in improved glide through impact. While maintaining excellent forgiveness, the design delivers a slightly reduced initial ball speed which leads to more control.
